Travel Information

Flight

Plan to arrive at Pearson International Airport (YYZ) on Saturday, September 9 (or at least on Sunday, September 10). Your return flight should be from the same airport on Friday, September 15, no earlier than 11:00 a.m. (to allow time for the bus ride back to Toronto from Muskoka that morning).

Ground Transportation

Airport Express: A shuttle that costs $16.75 per person. This may take up to an hour (or more), as it stops at all downtown hotels.
Airport Limo: Faster and costs $38.00 per trip, cheap when shared by several riders.

Accommodations

Toronto: Reserve your room at the Holiday Inn on King Street for the nights of September 9 & 10. Call 1-800-263-6364. There is a code for the special IRMA conference rate. If you have misplaced it, e-mail the executive director. You may also want to visit the Holiday Inn on King Web site.

Muskoka:
Reserve your room at the Muskoka Sands Resort for the nights of September 11-14. Call 1-800-461-0236. Have your fax number handy because they will send a registration form for you to complete and return. If you have misplaced the code to get the special IRMA conference rate, e-mail the executive director. You may also want to visit the Muskoka Sands Resort Web site.

Just in case...
You may want to consider medical insurance for the trip, unless your policy already covers you in another country.

At all other times, dress very comfortably and casually. You are welcome to wear jeans if you wish. We expect the weather to be shorts-and-sandals-warm, but it's advisable to bring something warm for the evenings, as being by the water can get chilly. And don't forget to bring your bathing suit..
