Membership Qualifications

IRMA has four classes of members, each with different requirements.

Active Members:

Magazines accepted by the board of directors that meet all requirements for full membership in IRMA.


Provisional Members:


Magazines that the board of directors expects to meet all requirements for full membership within two years.


Honorary Members:


Individuals who during their tenure with active member magazines over a long period in the opinion of the board of directors deserve lifetime association with IRMA.


Associate Members:


Any person, firm or corporation engaged in a business allied to the publishing of regional magazines. See the benefits.
